Sharing a printer from xp with Windows 7 starter

Can someone please tell me how I would share a printer connected to my xp desktop with my netbook running windows 7.

I did have it working before but have restore the computer.

I am going mad

    Control Panel then Devices and Printers and Add a Printer. Select Network Printer and have the printer's driver CD handy in case W7 wants it. I hope it isn't an HP c1515 for your sake. :D

    I'm not in W7 at the moment but from memory, Network and Sharing Centre and in the left hand pane, tucked away at the bottom is Network - below the Homegroup which it's best to ignore in my opinion. I believe the default name is WORKGROUP so check that XP is the same and if it isn't, alter it in XP - it's easier. Restart both and use XP to seek the netbook - give it a good twenty minutes for W7 to catch up - it's a bit on the slow side but hopefully SP1 will fix that.
