Sharing a printer from xp with Windows 7 starter

Can someone please tell me how I would share a printer connected to my xp desktop with my netbook running windows 7.

I did have it working before but have restore the computer.

I am going mad

Control Panel then Devices and Printers and Add a Printer. Select Network Printer and have the printer's driver CD handy in case W7 wants it. I hope it isn't an HP c1515 for your sake.

I'm not in W7 at the moment but from memory, Network and Sharing Centre and in the left hand pane, tucked away at the bottom is Network - below the Homegroup which it's best to ignore in my opinion. I believe the default name is WORKGROUP so check that XP is the same and if it isn't, alter it in XP - it's easier. Restart both and use XP to seek the netbook - give it a good twenty minutes for W7 to catch up - it's a bit on the slow side but hopefully SP1 will fix that.
