Use of 3 DIMM's out of 4 memory slots

Hello,
can i install memory in only 3 slots out of 4 slots in asus mother board p8z68 pro v series mother board.
i am in the process of troubleshooting the BSOD memory management error.

What RAM you have .... it suppose can be use 3 slot out of 4 slot ... but in this case ... it is not running on Dual channel....

Test the RAM one by one ..

it's an issue with RAM, working with Corsair support for replacement..........
