I am seeing on ebay 24 hour batters that are bigger? I am leaving on a trip
to Mexico and want to get a new battery. Are these for real or are they
fake non OEM stuff? If not Ebay could someone suggest a better alternative
to getting a batter for my gameboy advance SP.

Thanks,

John

Was it one of these?

That particular one, though being third-party, is actually licenced by Nintendo.

There was also the Nintendo 1000mAh battery that gave 17.5hrs (with the light
on), but these never made it outside of Japan (except on a few SP's that were
refurbished in Europe). Lik-Sang currently has it listed as being 'out of
stock'.

Not just currently, it's been OOS for about a full year now. I don't
think that they ever got them in.

Come on, use your imagination. Take a car battery, strap it on your back,
and you're good to go for at least 200 hrs of juice. You might need to step
down the voltage somewhat, but a couple of resistors should do the trick.
