I have the replacement keyboard part, but no idea how to get into the
laptop to replace it. Has anyone else opened one of these up?

I've disassembled that model, but I've done it a few times with a FX340. If
it is somewhat similar, you need to remove the screw on the left side next
to the panel on top of the keyboard (where the speaker usually are), then
slide it right and take it out. Then you remove one more screw which holds
the keyboard, pull up, and slide towards the screen. Then disconnect the
keyboard (don't just pull the ribbon cable, the connector has a locking
mechanism)
