GTX 460. will it run on a 450w PSU?

Hi.
This is my first time on the forums! and i'd like to ask a hopefully simple question. i'm looking to upgrade my 9800GT.
it runs on a 450W PSU and according to the Nvidia website it needs a minumum 400w PSU. (i have a 450W, NOT SURE WHAT MAKE)

my choice for an upgrade is a GTX 460 (PLEASE. do not suggest any other makes.. Thank you!) and it says you need a minimum of 450w coming from your PSU. will my CURRENT 450W psu be enough for it?

I'm also looking to upgrade my PSU as well. I have found this one for my upgrade, as it will keep me going for the future to come!

Will my Current PSU handle it.. i am going to buy that PSU in the very near future to go with my GTX 460.

I think u should take the MSI GTX460. And your current PSU won't handle your GPU.
About the PSU. Well u should get a better known company PSU like Corsair, Gigabyte or something like that.
But thats only my suggestion.

Thas for your answer. and i think so to. i just choose that PSU as it was fairly cheap and it had good reviews... on that site atleast. but i will go for a better known PSU etc.

Well, on what site do you want to buy and whats your budget for the PSU?

Right now im looking for the same things as you do

I just found this PSU. and i really don't mind what priceing if im honest. but hay. i do want to save an honest buck though. (pound )

The Corsair TX is an excellent power supply. Other good quality brands include Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, XFX, Enermax, Silverstone and Antec.
