Why do I have a 1/2" black border around the picture on my Samsung led backlit 23" monitor. Using ATI Radeon HD 5670 card and HDMI cable.

Go into Catalyst Control Center and look for Scaling Options under Digital Panel.

Move the slider until the desktop fills the entire screen.
