GTX 580 Bottleneck

What intel cpu is not going to bottleneck my gtx 580 at res of 1920x1080p

Note i sent my p67 and 2500k back for refund and i will not get a new set so what intel cpu is going to work thats not a 1155.

^+1 i5-760 is the cheapest thing that you can count on not bottlenecking a single GTX 580. (A stock i7-950 will bottleneck on two I think).

Why don't you want a P67 and i5-2500K? That's amazing hardware for a great price!

Because i went from amd to intel before the recall had a sabertooth p67 and 2500k the recall is a mess decided to rma back for refund ill go a diffrent route

Okay, but the B3 revision P67 boards are out. And they're still the best bang for your buck. That was a pretty lousy situation with the recall, but you'll be kicking yourself in two years if you buy an i5-760 instead of an i5-2500K.

I refuse to go to SB in my opinion i think other issues are going to arise very soon. With that intels new chipset and hopefully amds new one will blow sb away. i wont regret anything if i wait for bulldozer IMO.

Nope, not if you wait for Bulldozer. I thought you were thinking of building right now--which is inadvisable if you don't want Sandy Bridge. I can't argue with waiting for Zambezi (Bulldozer).

Is there any sort of an idea when the bulldozer is going to be released and will it work on current am3 boards if so i can buy the board now and use my old am3 athlon

The concensus has been that you need an AM3+ mobo for Bulldozer.

And again, I look at that one FP unit per two cores [one BD module], and I see a MAJOR bottleneck for gaming [which is heavy in the FP department]. The fact we don't even have leaked benchies yet is very worrying in its own right...We'll see in a few months.
