Okay, so I was planning on getting a system that I posted on here, and everyone said it looked good. :D  I was looking on Newegg.com and saw that you could get a hd4850 1gb for only $60 after rebates! I was thrilled! So, what would that match in performance? Maybe a hd5850 without DX11 enabled? Also, would a XFX 650w PSU be able to run the following system: Antec Three Hundred Illusion, ASRock AM3 870 Extreme3 MoBo, AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE OCed to around 4Ghz, 8gb PNY CAS 8 1600Mhz RAM, two WD Black Caviar 500gb SATA 6gb drives, ASUS x24 SATA DVD/CD burner drive, two hd4850s in CF, and maybe an after market heatsink like a CM Hyper 212 plus. I can get all of that for around $615 after rebates. So my big questions, what will the hd4850s CF be performance wise, maybe a hd6850, or hd5850? Will that PSU power all of that?

Yes definitely an XFX 650 can handle 2x5850.

Would dual hd4850s handle all modern games and would it be a good value for only $120? What card does it compete against?

Okay, one hd6850, or two hd4850s, which is better?????? Would the hd4850s be worth it for future gaming too????? I want something that will last me a while. What would it be compared to todays cards? I want at least a hd6850's performance.

As far as current cards the 4850 would be pretty close to the 5750, so 60 bucks is a good price and they do pretty well in crossfire. If you want to kick some DX9 games butts on the cheap thats probably a good route to go.

Buying a single 5850/6850 or 5870 makes more sense to me.
You'll save the difference in electricity alone very quickly.
4xxx series cards are very power hungry.
Less noise and heat is also another advantage.
Plus i think the 4850 will begin to show it's age as newer games are released.
2x4850 is comparable to a 5850.
Can't argue with the price though.

Oh, didn't see that. Thanks! So, will it be like a hd5850, or a GTX 280? I want something like a hd6850 at least.
