Hello, I need help configuring my first pc build. It will mainly be for gaming (Battlefield 3, among other games). my budget is capped at about $850, so I need to know if some of these parts can be swapped for better/equal cost parts.

Mobo: ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k

Video Card: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 1GB

Case: Antec 300 Blk Steel ATX Mid Tower

PS: Antec High Current Gamer Series 750W

Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)

Storage: SAMSUNG Spinpoint 1TB 7200 RPM

Mouse: Logitech G500

if thats just the regular antec black case then i'd go for the haf 912 instead. i have the haf 912 and it has much better cable management and more room for parts compared to the antec 300

you really dont need 8 GB of ram for gaming so i would go for some dual channel g-skill ripjaws at 2x2 gb and then a year or two down the road, throw 4 more gigs in if u want but right now games cant benefit from more than 4 GB of ddr3

if u drop down to 4GB u can put that towards a slightly nicer gpu like say a gtx 560ti which performs a bit better than a 6870 (i wish i had that card over my own 6870)

as for the rest of your system, i wouldnt change a thing

theres my two cents :)
