All looks pretty good but do you really need a sound card and an Ethernet card when the motherboard has the equivalent built in already.

I would get the Samsung f3 from amazon over the W.D. black but the performance should be similar anyways.

I would switch to the MSI GTX 580 Lightning. It's the fastest and most overclockable version of the GTX 580 and is only about $25 more than the ASUS. Also, it won't take up 3 slots like the ASUS.

Also if it were me.. i would slap another 4 gig on memory on there..4 gigs should be enough.. BUT a friend of mine just recently got into the beta for SW:TOR and running the same amount of memory (actually the exact same memory brand/speed/ect) hes running at ~95% memory usage with virtual memory turned off.. and is looking at adding another 8 gigs to his setup.. and when your talking ~$1700 whats another $50 to double that 4 gigs to 8gig?

I bought a sound card thinking it'd do wonders but it doesn't really do much unless you have the extra money and want everything perfect. I noticed the difference in sound performance, music sounds better but that's about it. I don't have shitty speakers either, mine were: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121122

My sound card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102024&Tpk=Creative%2070SB088000004%207.1%20Channels%20PCI%20Express%201x

Yeah, I don't recommend it unless you're rich or some kind of music pro who needs crystal clarity.

Well newegg just put the 24x LG burner on sale for 19.99. I've always used free anti-virus without any issue. All looks good, only thing left to consider is a z68 M/B if you haven't already.
