Thermal paste?

Well, I'm getting an i5, and OC'ing it to a good 4GHZ+, and wondering what a good thermal paste is, and exactly HOW to apply it.
I've heard the Arctic Silver 5 is the BEST when it comes to thermal paste! ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835100007 )

What's you opinion?
And what's the best way to apply it?

AS5 is good. Not the best, but its not horrible to use. I'm pretty sure MX4 and IC diamond are better. If you aren't monster OCing then any of those will be more then fine.

I'm old school. Thin/small dab in the center, and then spread it as thin as possible over the entire heat shield. If you are using a direct contact heat pipe heatsink like the 212+, don't forget to work some into the cracks on the base of the sink.
