Hello Everyone,

I was hoping the community can offer any suggestions for a new video card. Currently I am running a HIS Radeon 4650 1 gb. While it has served my gaming pursposes for the past year, card began to show weakness when playing Starcraft 2 and Dragon Age 2 demo. I am looking for an upgrade and would like to keep my budget under $200. I am currently looking at two cards, Geforce 460 or the Ati 6850. Please let me know the pro and cons of each or suggest another card. I do play first person shooters and mainly play rpgs and strategy platforms. Oassionaly I might try a first person shoot, but probably not for the long run.

Here is a quick summary of my pc build:

i7 860
8 gb ram
650 Antec psu
24 inch Dell Ultrasharp Monitor

I appreciate all comments. Thank you.

Updating my pc specs:

CPU: Core i7 860
Current GPU: HIS Radeon 4650
PSU: Antec EA 650 650w
Monitor: Dell 24 inch monitor 1920 x 1080 resolution

I would like to play games at 1920 x 1080 resolution with close to max settings. I can play at 1920 x 1080 but with low settings. I currently play at 1680 x 1050 medium settings.
