Hello, I just built my first pc for gaming. A budget built little under $800.00 I had everything working great for about two weeks and all of a sudden my board died. it was an MSI 970a-g45 am3+ i have an amd fx 4100 cpu 2 sticks of ram1600 mhz @ 4 gig each and a gtx 560ti gpu. Ok so i need to buy a new mobo and i am wondering if someone could help me decide on a new board. I dont want to go with the same one. I would like to stay close to 100 bucks or slightly under. the main reason i am asking is because i dont know what the differences are between the chipsets, North bridge and south bridge?? what makes one better than the other, and dose it even make a difference when i already have all my other components?
