Hello, I have a Gigabyte MA790GP-UD4H with the built-in ATI Radeon HD 3300, Win 7-64 and a Samsung SyncMaster 225BW. Lately the monitor has not been working correctly. When starting up, or trying to come out of sleep mode, there will be no signal on the monitor and then a flash showing the computer desktop for about 1 second, and then no signal again. Generally by turning the monitor off and on repeatedly I can eventually get it to work within 10-12 tries. I thought this might be related to the download of the newest ATI Catalyst software package but even after uninstalling all ATI software the issue persists.

Is this a video issue or a monitor issue? I would think that even if there is no video coming from the computer the monitor's menu button would still work, but this is not the case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
