I am trying to put my first PC build together...I am wondering if this is a decent build and if it will be futureproof... I am not trying to go over $1500 and this is what I put together:

COOLER MASTER HAF 922

Asus P8P67 PRO (REV 3.0)

EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 570 (possibly sli in the near future)

Corsair HX Series CMPSU-850HX 850W

Intel Core i7-2600K

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (x2 for 8gb)

Western Digital VelociRaptor WD4500HLHX 450GB 10000 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s

I am wondering if anyone has suggestions to possibly upgrade this without increasing costs... possibly different brand of graphics card/case... Is this a decent case and a good brand for this video card?

Also I am wondering if the HX850w can handle sli gtx 570...

few suggestions
-depending on your resoloution gtx 560 sli would be better for the price than 2 gtx 570s

-drop your cpu to 2500K, the 2600k isint worth $100 more unless you do heavy video editing or things of that sort http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/288?vs=287

-10k rpm drives will be trouble, just get an SSD with money from switching to 2500k for boot drive and also get a 7200 rpm drive. An SSD would perform better than a 10k drive and actually use the SATA 6gbs bandwidth.

-HAF are nice cases

-An HX850 will be fine with 570s in SLI

fro your data use the samsung spinpoint f3 1tb amazon has the best price for them 60$ free shipping. also get this ssd it is 80gb but you can go up to 120 with your budget pulling a few strings- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167047&cm_re=80gb_ssd_intel-_-20-167-047-_-Product oh and it comes with a free game. on the ssd you want to put your os and your most used applications. also if you are going to sli go with the 6970 it will get you better framerates when in cf than 570 sli. and you may want to look into 6950. in cf it will give you 99% of framerates 570 sli does for 200$ less for the 2 cards. i do agree if you are just gaming go with the i5 2500k. and get the asrock p67 extreme4 it is 95% of the asus pro motherboard for less. it will overclock just as well too. i would know i own both
