GIGABYTE GA-M68MT-S2 AM3+ Good With AMD Phenom II X4 965

ok so i saw this board (GIGABYTE GA-M68MT-S2 AM3+) on newegg and amazon and its $50 bucks for this motherboard and i saw that it was compatible with the AMD Phenom x4 965 i just bought about a couple days go.

i want to know if this would be a good option for an upgrade. i usually use my computer for playing games like Minecraft,Counterstrike,Team Fortress 2, and games like that and maybe a bit higher games that use a bit more power(which is why i bought the AMD Phenom x4 965).

Pretty much what im asking is if this is a good choice for games.

My Current PC Specs:

Emachines ET1300-02
Motherboard: MCP61PM-GM
Processor: AMD Athlon X2 4850e
RAM: 5:00 GB
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT

More about gigabyte m68mt good phenom
  1. In b4 "omg, why aren't you going Intel!"

That will be fine, it's a a relatively cheap mono, so usb 2 and average power delivery for the 965, but perfect for you average upgrade.. Personally go for usb 3.0 like a ga970a d3.
