I'm looking to upgrade my system.. i use it mainly for gaming.. and internet surfing... and some video conversion to put stuff on my phone.. not worried about faster video conversions.. i do that while i sleep.. anyways heres my current system

AMD Phenom II x4 925 (slightly OCed to 3.0 ghz)
Gigabyte mobo (M57SLI-s4)
6 gigs of DDR2 (g.skill)
Nvidia Geforce GTX 285 (BFG brand)
Power Supply is a 850 watt something.. dont recall off the top of my head..
Antec 900 case
Windows 7
ect.

as for as storage
c drive is: 2 OCZ 30gig SSD in raid 0 for my main windows drive but have my desktop set to run off my d drive
d drive is: 1tb 7200 samsung drive.. 32 meg ram.. blah blah blah
e drive is: misc storage 240gig

and i run 2 20" screens both at 1680x1050

anyways i'm looking to upgrade some time in the next 2-3 months (mainly for SW:TOR(i got 30 gigs waiting on my c drive for it heheh)) and i'm looking to spend $300-$500 So mainly looking to get ideas of what i should get... like i said tho.. i dont mind waiting a little bit for the prices to fall a little, if i have to..

Solution
Although that is not a terrible system, it is dated and I personally would rather save a little more and start fresh than put $500 into it. You could potentially reuse a part or two for your old build as well. If you wanted to go that route you could fill out the build advice form in my signature.

It 'd be great if u include the complete details about that PSU.
If the case and PSU can be re used and u already have a HD and monitors and OS. We can easily build a new system based on i5 2500K and 6950 2GB for around 700$
and u wont have to look back for another 4 years atleast.
i5 2500K - 215$
6950 2GB - < 250$ after rebates
p67 / z68 based mobo - around 150$
DDR3 RAM - 8 GB(2x4gb) - 100$
I say wait for a couple of months and save up enough to do the above. Also u can take a look at AMDs new Bulldozer CPUs when they r out.

Well I said it's not bad because it doesn't look like a cheap unit if it is what it claims to be.(80 plus bronze, 64amps on +12V rail, active pfc etc) Then again I could be wrong. Personally I wouldn't get it but if I already had it then its different.
@op
how much did u pay for that PSU?

when i bought itjust over a year ago.. it was around $120 if i remember correctly.. been rock solid so far.. no issues.. every time i've checked the voltage (usually check it 5-6 times in the first week or so of a build then every few month) they have always been right on the mark
