AMD Warranty Service

I'm not sure if this is the right sesection for this, so correct me if I'm wrong and I will move it.

I tried registering with AMD for an account but it wouldn't accept my details.

I then used the contact us email form, I got an email back stating, the email form could not be accepted because my email addy was not registered with there portal.

It has prolly been more than 30 days since purchase.

is it necessary to register? will they honour the warranty otherwise?

in the uk usually the person who sold it to you would be responsible to replace it if its in warranty not the manufacturer--normally proof of purchase is all thats needed--receipt or credit card proof of purchase
