Need Help!

Ok so i'm not sure that the power supply i am planning on getting will be good enough for the system i want, its a 400W Xigmatek PSU. Here's the system specs,

Intel Core i3 2100 (2 x 3.10Ghz)
Asus P8H61-M LX2 (Rev. 3)
4GB DDR3 1333mhz (2x 2GB)
500GB S-ATAII 3.0Gb/s
22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 1GB
19' Widescreen LCD
Xigmatek Asgard (Case)

  1. The Xigmatek PSU is OK at best. You are better off with the Corsair 430w below...

    ^ If this is the one, then it would just power the system fine,... Actually can even handle HD 5750 and such cards easy,...

    Yes that is the one i'm planning on buying, will it be okay running games such as COD4?
  5. While the Xigmatek may be able to handle the power requirement, Corsair is a more reputable brand with a better track record... and is the whopping $5 more after rebate.

  7. ^ Actually $10 less with the $5 code and no hassle of rebates,... and the warranty is pretty good,...
    And if planning for gaming, better to change your graphics card,...

    HD 5670 would be a good option, performs far better than the GT220 at the same price range...

    The website is, DinoPC.com, and no i am in the UK, will the GT220 run COD4 on playable FPS?

    The system with a 19" monitor comes to £380, an AMD system with an AMD Phenom II x4 (4 x 3.2Ghz) which processor is better the i3 2100 (2 x 3.10Ghz) or the AMD Phenom II x4 (4 x 3.2Ghz)?

    I really wanted to keep it under £400, plus i would prefer the Intel Core i3 CPU, would you suggest me some good websites were i can configure a PC?
  16. I'm willing to go over my budget to get the, NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 1GB this brings me over my budget by a few pounds, what do you think of this GPU?
