Well, it's about 3 months since I set up an experiment with laser
color prints. I used test prints from an Okidata C5150n and a Konica
Minolta Magicolor 5430 DL laser. The unexposed half of each print was
protected on *both* front and back with aluminum foil and the prints
were placed in south facing window on October 5. Inspection of the
results indicates almost no discernable fading in either of the
prints. There just might be a very slight fading of the red pigment
but some claim not to see it.
I am going to keep tracking the resolution of laser printers now and I
may even replace my venerable LaserJet 4L.
