Parts Preferences: I was thinking about using amd this time around because of my budget and it is alot cheaper then intel.

My case is a antec 900, I have a copy of windows 7, and I have a ocz 700w GameXStream do you need anymore info?

AMD is cheaper when/if you compare only the i7-990/i7-980 with some of the X3/X4 variants, sure....

One you throw in i5/2300 and the i3/2100, the lines blur somewhat.
