So my old computer I tried the DVI cable and it didn't work. I assumed the DVI input on the monitor was faulty because a VGA to DVI adapter worked fine. I just got a new computer and monitor, the DVI still doesn't work. Now I know it must be the cable. I initially hooked up the VGA to DVI adapter and it works fine at 1920x1080. I just tried an HDMI cable and it seems good also, but the BIOS doesn't display full screen. Should I get a new DVI cable or stick with this HDMI?

Is it only the BIOS that doesn't display in fullscreen? If yes its not a big concern.

If you can still get into the BIOS if you need to, fugedaboudit.

Yeah it's only the BIOS. Shouldn't be an issue then. I figured it would be easier to use a spare HDMI cable I had laying around then order a DVI cable.
