New gaming mouse and keyboard

Hey everyone, i am currently looking into getting a new mouse and keyboard for gaming and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as of what to get. I was hoping to stay under the $70 range if possible and would prefer the mouse and keyboard to be wired, not wireless.

my preferred website is tigerdirect.ca since i can go into the store to pick it up as opposed to ordering it...

and i was wondering if this keyboard would be good enough since i dont really care if the keyboard has programmable keys or not, but how is this keyboard for multikey combinations (eg. Shift key+w key+space+1 key) because i know that my current keyboard cant handle any more than 3 key combinations

so total of ~$65 before taxes but if anyone has any other suggestions for a keyboard or mouse that i should get instead please post a comment or if you think that my choices are good enough then pleas say so

For gaming? Microsoft Sidewinder X4 keyboard. Anti-ghosting, back light, media keys, programmable buttons and gaming quality for around 40 bucks.

i swear by my logitech g15 keyboard, although it might be out of your price range. I strongly recommend anything with backlight keys though.
