Additional Comments: This build is actually for my friend, I am selling him my nvidia gtx 470 for $100. Maybe a case with alot of airflow. Budget he can probably go over a bit on the $700. For the Case I wanted to know if anyone knows if a gtx 470 would fit in this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... found at my local bestbuy, shipping a case to hawaii is fairly expensive so we would rather buy something locally if possible. Thanks in Advanced!!

That case will fit the card. I'm also jealous you are not my friend 100 for that card is nice!

Do you have a microcenter($180) around to pick up an i5 2500k? That will save you $45 instead of getting it through newegg. ($225)

Power supply: Corsair 650TX $90 10MIR

Hard drive: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB $65

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) $100

Motherboard: ASRock P67 PRO3 $130

HSF: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus $40

Optical Drive: LITE-ON Black 24X DVD $20

That gets you to about $700...but I know I'm forgetting something...always forget something.

also on a side note from 5ms to 2ms response time on a monitor does it make a big difference on ghosting? He wanted to get a monitor too but thats not going to be apart of the budget. I added the processor and it's about $670.

no we don't have a microcenter. Only place with a case locally is like best buy I Think -.-
