E-mail clients free like windows mail ?

Hey what e-mail client does everyone suggest ? I know windows mail is just like Microsoft outlook. My question is i don't want to pay for outlook but I want a really good one like it such as windows mail ? which do you suggest ? I need it to sync with my iphone
