I am looking to build a very quiet but fast system (some gaming, photo work) to last me some time and would appreciate some expert input before I pull the trigger.

the 6950(2gb) simply rules in most cost/performance ratios right now.....

The Samsung F3 drives are high performing/low cost 1 TB drives.....

I'd also recommend both the 6950 2GB and the Samsung F3s.

The 6950 has very nice triple monitor support right out of the box. You'd need 2 Nvidia cards to get 2 monitors, which was slightly frustrating...
