Hi,

I'm building a new mostly gaming but some work PC. I think I have a good system, except I need advice on:
1. which motherboard between my choices, if it even matters
2. SSD, or a bit extra memory for a ramdisk (for a photoshop scratch file/windows user folder/firefox profile), or both
3. GPU choice - GTX570 vs 6950 vs 6970? I'd rather overpower than underpower.
4. Mouse and keyboard. I'm thinking MX518, G500, or DeathAdder for the mouse. No idea for a keyboard.

I have a budget, but I'll go over if it gives me better parts. :D

Welcome to the forum. Here's my opinions
Mobo: 1 although both are fine (ASRock is cheaper)
SSD: maybe an Intel 320?
GPU: 3 and crossfire later as you said, no I don't believe that model is unlockable
Mouse: 2 is my favorite.
Your other choices look good, you could get a 750W Corsair TX V2 or similar.

The GPU option 3 is a good one, great value for money. Especially the 2Gb one.

Last time I checked tigerdirect still had some reference 2Gb HD 6950's (unlockable via bios). They had two models both about $300 with the shipping so a savings of about $40 over the HD 6970's. The next M/B I get is gonna be the gigabyte z68 UD4 which can be combo'ed with the i5 for $25 dollars off.
