hi everyone. i had buy 3 years ago my computer. core i5 760 LGA 1156, motherboard Gigabyte P55 UD3L, memory XMs Corsair 2X2gb. my graphic card gigabyte ati radeon 4850, 256 bit 512 ddr3. Someone offer me same ati radeon 4850 for crossfire($50). Is it worth it? I am thinking of building another i7 pc with with ati 6800 series...

Its well worth it for that price, the cards are a long way apart which is good for cooling but you will need to get a long crossfire cable to link them. Some games will benefit massively while a few not at all for more details see http://www.guru3d.com/article/amd-ati-radeon-hd-4850-review-force-3d--powercolor/17 note some games show no benefit using crossfire but most of these have patches or ATI driver updates later that can fix it, like Crysis 2 the demo didn't use crossfire but the full game does.

thanks guy. Uther39, i am a newbie... what do you mean by 1.347 miles apart?

atolsammeek... with my configuration now, i can play witcher 2.. FIFA 11.. call of duty with no problem.

i cant get any ati 4850 anymore... my friend offer his card for $50.. same brand
