Sorry I don’t understand the first part of your question. As far as the differences between the Intel® Core™ i5-2400, Intel Core i5-2500, and the Intel Core i5-2500K check below for a quick answer or see this site http://ark.intel.com/compare/52207,52209,52210
.

Intel Core i5-2400:
-TXT (Trusted Execution Technology)
-VT-d (Virtualization with directed I/O)
-Intel HD 2000 Graphics
-3.1GHz clock speed
Intel Core i5-2500:
-TXT (Trusted Execution Technology)
-VT-d (Virtualization with directed I/O)
-Intel HD 2000 Graphics
-3.3GHz clock speed
Intel Core i5-2500K:
-Unlocked multiplier (allows the overclocking of the core clock speed)
-Intel HD 3000 Graphics (improvement over the HD 2000 graphics)
-3.3GHz clock speed but can be overclocked

im using a gtx 570 card ..i will not sli my card..i dont know what is the use of overclocking using a single gpu..i want to know whether i5 2500 or 2400 will make me play all games at ultra settings at 1600x900 with all maxed out..or i have to wait for ivy bridge

An i5-2500k will max just about anything with a single [decent] GPU, especially at 1600x900 resolution.

That being said, theres really no point to getting a k series processor and NOT overclocking.

You've asked this question before, and the answer is still "Yes." There are already a couple of very demanding games that need overclocking to get the best performance out of. The future will only bring more of these demanding games.

I have a 2500K and a GTX 570. Both are overclocked for best performance in games.
