Every morning for about the past 2 weeks or so when i get up and turn on my computer i have no internet and have to reset my modem and router. After that initial reset the internet is usually fine for the rest of the day until the following morning. Every once in awhile id say around 70% of the time i have to reset my router in order to connect to Xbox live after turning on my Xbox. I figured it might just be a firmware issue but ive been looking around and cant seem to find the downloads. I have comcast cable internet the modem is a Scientific Atlanta DPC2100R2 and the router is a Cisco Linksys wireless G broadband model number WRT54G2 V1. Any help would be great thank you.

When you say reset -- do you mean power own and power up again ?

If so it may be worth doing a full reset on the router using the reset button. Download and check the router manual for reset options.
