Budget gaming rig

I'm trying to build a gaming rig for as little as possible and yet still be capable of playing most games with out a problem. any ideas?

I think I've already settled that i should go with an ADM processor.

processor isnt as important as the gpu. what games are you going to want to play.

stuff like civ and total war series, bf2 +bfbc2 (and eventually bf3), mine craft, crysis, and others but that should give a good idea.

you need to spend about $500 to play them games at least

Please provide more info. Start by filling out the build advice form from the sticky. For gaming, no AMD probably won't be my first choice.

@brpeden82 that would fit perfectly within my budget, probably could spend...maybe up to $700 though that would be pushing it.
