Background - 1st time building a computer and VERY confused!

The computer will boot up; however, I have one problem. - My case fans will not power on even though they are attached to my motherboard. I have the GIGABYTE GA-Z68AP-D3 motherboard and a HAF 912 coolermaster case.

Is there an easy way to fix this or test if there is a problem with the motherboard. As a reference, I removed the 4 pins from the fans and used three pins for both.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

Thanks!

OK - I have corrected the issue with the rear fan utilizing the SYS Fan 1 connector.

My front fan still will not turn on. I am using the 3 pin connection to the PWR Fan connector and still get nothing.

I tried searching the BIOS for any fan options, but did not notice any.

I am lost on how to fix/repair this...

If you are using a 3 pin connector coming from the fan make sure you are connecting it to the right 3 pins on the mobo fan header. Also, look closely at the one you have working and try switching the other fan where that one is connected to and see if it works that way.
