I want to know if the GTX560Ti will be good enough for all modern games at 1680x1050, other system spec are Core2Quad Q9550 @3ghz with 4gb DDR2 ram, thanks chaps

one word: overkill. but get it if you plan on getting bigger resolution in short time later. currently my GTX460 able to max out most game easily at 1600x900. (except crysis and metro). in game such as dead space 2 i got constant 60FPS but the gpu usage only 20%-30% with ingame setting max out

you would want to OC that CPU of yours a little more if youre gonna run a GTX 560 on that resolution because it would bottleneck that GPU, if you do that then i say go for it, you will max out games easily. but if you wont OC the CPU more then i suggest a GTX 460 1gb.

The GTX 560 is the king of lower resolutions, and it's only overkill if it doesn't improve framerates over a GTX 460. In this case, with your overclocked quad core processor, you will definitely improve framerates.

I recommend you check out the brand new version of the Gigabyte GTX 560 Superoverclock. The new version is clocked at 950 mhz, while the old version was at 1000 mhz, but it has been out of stock for a long time. The lower clock will just mean more stability and more overclocking headroom. It still has the best in class, in terms of noise, Windforce cooler.
