So im running an Asus GTX460, which has 2 DVI ports and a mini HDMI.
So i want to use my LCD tv as my monitor, my TV as a HDMI port.
So i went to best buy and bought a Mini HDMI - HDMI cable but when I turned on my TV,
my TV says "unsupported mode".

*I should add my TV is from 2008 and only supports up to 720p, which i dont mind.

So do i need to lower the resolution the GPU puts out? if so how do i do that?
Is there anything else i need to do?

I remember using my laptop with an old 2008 720p monitor before and it worked fine.

If you are plugging it in and it doesn't detect it in "Nvidia Control Panel" then I don't know.

You are plugging it into your computer monitor and your lcd at the same time right?

Oh i dont have another Comp. Monitor that supports HDMI
only my LCD. I read i might have to download the drivers for my GPU
or
I have to go into nVidia Control panel and select my screen something like that.
