Inexperienced Builder - Multimedia Rig

Hey guys, Im new to the forum and am looking for some help!

Im looking at building a mid-range great value-for-money multimedia machine.

This is the first time im building a rig, and need some assistance/reassurance in my choices.

The machine will be used for general stuff including some CAD/Design software (autocad, Solidworks etc) some video editing and some basic gaming (Sims 3 and maybe some stuff a bit more hardcore)

I definitely want a multitasking machine with as little lag as possible.

After some internet research i spec'd the following:

CPU - Intel Core i5 2500
GPU - Sapphire Game Edition Radeon HD5770
M/Board - Asus P8P67 LGA1155 motherboard
PSU - Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus RS-460-PCAR Power Supply - 460W
Chassis - Cooler Master RC-310 Elite 310 Mid Tower Chassis
Optical Drive - LG GH22LP20
HDD - Western Digital 2TB Caviar Green SATA300 64MB Hard Drive
RAM - JetRam DDR3-1333 8GB (2x4GB) Memory Module Kit
