I'm not sure about not getting into BIOS. Are you tapping the right key at the right time?

As far as the frame rate problem, there could be a multitude of causes. I would first start by cleaning the system of resource wasting garbage and registry errors by running CCleaner. Do the Clean and Registry both.

Then I would uninstall the existing graphics drivers, run Driver sweeper from Safe Mode (tap f8 at boot). And remove any remnants of Nvidia (and AMD/ATI) drivers it finds.

After a reboot, install the latest drivers for your card and O/S.

We could use a little more information.

What games are you having problems with? Exactly what do you mean by low frame rates? Exactly which four core Phenom II do you have?

Is this your motherboard? http://www.msi.com/product/mb/785GM-P45.html
