Gtx 570 3DMark 05 score

My EVGA GeForce GTX 570 doesn't seem to be performing right. I put a new system together with an i7-950, CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB DDR3 1600 and ASUS Sabertooth X58 motherboard. Running 3DMark 05 I am getting LOWER scores than my old E8400 with Geforce 8800GT video card. 3DMark 05 score is 26435. I used the Nvidia drivers v266.58 right from the Nvidia website. Any ideas why my scores are so low? Other benchmarks like 3DMark 06 and Aquamark 3 yield similar poor numbers.

    That's because 3dmark 05 is garbage. Download 3dmark 11

I downloaded and ran 3DMark 11 and got a score of X1702. Can you tell if that's a normal score for a GTX570? So far I still think the performance is NOT what it should be I bought pretty high end parts. Here is a list:

ASUS Sabertooth X58 LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard -

    Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor BX80601950 -

    CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMP6GX3M3A1600C8 -

    EVGA 012-P3-1571-KR GeForce GTX 570 HD w/Display-Port (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card -

Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive -

Antec TPQ-850 850W Continuous Power ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply -

LITE-ON 24X DVD Writer Black SATA Model iHAS424-98 LightScribe Support -

These parts should give better numbers than I'm seeing, shouldn't they? I run Windows 7 64 bit and loaded all the newest drivers when I did the installation. Perhaps I missed something somewhere. I don't get error messages, just low benchmark scores.

    Any help would be appreciated.
