GBA Movie Player Rom Question

I recently obtained a GBA Movie Player and Love It. But I have a few
questions...

1) ROM version 1.3 the text file says that it supports long file names,
but I'm not experiencing that. I even tried wiping my CF card and
starting over but same results. I'm thinking maybe I should reflash it
but it seemed to go well and reports that it's in fact 1.3 so before I
fry the thing I thought I'd ask...

2) Does anyone know if they are going to come out with a SD card
version? Or maybe just a cartridge that will take SD cards?

I like to read books on it and listen to music and wow people with movie
trailers...so a game cartridge that had an SD slot would just rock my world.

3) Is there anywhere to go (other than here) to ask people who use this
thing there experiences with it? I'm just trying to be polite...
