my blue ray player blue light come on and door open and cloes but when i go to my computer at dose not show up at all the other player dose

Optical drives should not require any drivers.

Please ensure the cables are fully plugged. Try another DATA (or even another port on the motherboard) cable if you have those available.

You can also check the device manager to see if the drive is detected.

On windows Vista/7 you should be able to start or control panel search "device manager" and look under DVD/CD-ROM drives(BD drives show as well)

BD drive in the Device Manager(HL-DT-ST BDDVDRW).
