Can I crossfire ATI 4670 and 4830?

Forum Graphics & Displays : Graphics Cards Can I crossfire ATI 4670 and 4830?

I have both and an intel board that supports crossfire. I have the bridge connected properly, both cards are showing under device manager, and I have the most up to date drivers and CCC, but the option to crossfire is not available. Can anyone help me take advantage of what I have so I don't have to spend money to update my graphics capability.
Intel D955XBK motherboard
Radeon HD 4830 512MB bus width 256
Radeon HD 4670 1024 MB bus width 128

go into overdrive in CCC, click the drop down arrow, if it allows you to overclock two cards separately, then cf is enabled in catalyst.

yes you can crossfire 2 different cards as long as they are the same series like 4xxx 5xxx or 6xxx, etc.. but you cant crossfire a 4xxx with a 5xxx
