Hello, I have been trying to find the best wireless adapter there is for my computer's PCI Slot. I'm not worrying about the price of it. I'm only focused on the overall range, speed, & connection stability. So, if you could lead me in the right direct of the leading edge cards in those aspects, that would be great.

Thanks, Con.

Ok, thanks. I went with this adapter. (D-Link DWA-552 32-bit PCI Xtreme Desktop Adapter) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=33-127-... But, I have another problem now. I can't figure out which of these antennas will give me better range? I'm trying to achieve the level of being able to pick up signals of neighboring houses.

D-Link ANT24-0230 Xtreme N 2.4GHz Antenna vs. D-Link ANT24-0700 2.4GHz Omni-Directional 7dBi Indoor Antenna?

If your neighbor has a N router, you might not need the additional antennas.

you can buy them and send them back if not needed.
