PSU:Rosewill Bronze Series RBR1000-M 1000W
Memory:16 GB - Kingston 240 pin DDR3 SDRAM 1333
HDD: WD Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1 TB 7200rpm SATA 6.0 Gb/S
Case:Cooler Master RC - 692-KKN2 CM690II advanced
I thank in advance every one on the forum for suggestions and advice.

If it is for HD video editing only, I suggest grabbing the i7 2600k and drop your GPU.

Also the PSU is an overkill, but that is your choice because it depends if you want that PSU to add in more hardware down the future.

The kingston 16GB 1333 costs like 300dollars while the GSkill ripjaw 16GB 1600 costs 200dollars. The 1333 rated Gskills costs even less for 160dollars.

If you decide to switch to the 2600k processor your motherboard will also have to change. The GA-x58A-UD5 board last time i checked costs like 280dollars. Judging by your hardware you won't even use half the features. You can save an extra 100-150dollars going z68 motherboards.

With the extra 100-150dollars you save on Ram, 100-150dollars you save on mobo, and if you want to downgrade your PSU, you would have enough money to either buy a high-end card if you want to game, or an SSD.

I suggest with the extra 250-300dollars you save, to grab either the c300 crucial SSD, or Corsair Sand Force 3. The size depends on what you want to use it for.

You will see a much bigger improvement for HD video editing.
