HD4850 -> HD4890 psu question

I have been using a HIS HD4850 IceQ 4 turbo 512mb for some time now, and have recently found a great deal on a used Sapphire HD4890 VaporX 1gig. Question is I understand that the 4890 will use more power than the 4850 but according to Newegg psu calculator my setup(see below) uses 477watts with the 4850 but 581watts with the 4890... That can't be right?!

Phenom II 965 @4ghz
8gb (2x4gb) 1600 ddr3
2x hitatchi 7200rpm
1x DVD/r
ASUS M4A87td? evo
OCZ 500watt 80+

Will my psu run the 4890?

According to hwcompare.com the hd4850 uses 110watts while the hd4890 is 190watts

Power for your systyem arround 250W and Power peak hd4890 arround 190 and your psu 500W OCZ .. Seem fine and enough.. Enjoy

Well I put it in and ran Bulletstorm for an hour and my computer didn't blow up! I guess it's good to go!
