Hello everyone, i currently have a Model: SR5710F 3GB Ram, 32-Bit Operating System with AMD Athlon(tm) Duel Core Processor 4450e 2.3 GHz, and a NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE Graphics card. And I currently play at 4-7 FPS on RIFT on its LOWEST graphics settings.
Based on Systemrequirementslab.com's analysis, this is what it recommended:

Based on this, i am getting at all i need to do is upgrade my RAM and Video Card. Based on the model's i have, i was wondering if anyone could suggest some RAM and a Video Card that would suit my computer and is a reasonable price and that could allow me to at-least play the game with medium settings with no frame-rate issue.
A link to some affordable upgrades would be extremely helpful. Thank you
well considering you box is worth about 100 bucks on craigslist these days, and you will at least spend that much on even a low end decent gpu then I would say build a new system, if you really want to run rift nicely, I would recommend an i52500k based Sandy Bridge build and at least a 6850/ gtx 460. Also what resolution you plan on playing at will give a good indicator to people about what type of build to go with
You are running Windows Vista 32-bit, so you won't be able to get 4GB of RAM since the 32 -bit version of windows won't recognize that much.
The biggest upgrade you can get is a new graphics card, but like Snipergod87 mentioned, we will need to know your Power Supply's wattage output to recommend something that won't overheat/blow up your system.
Really, I agree with the other guys and really recommend a full system upgrade. For $300 to $500 you can get a full system that will run rift at medium to high settings between 25-50 FPS.
How much can you spend on an upgrade and what is your power supply output?
