My desktop keyboard types "?" for "^" in Excel

Hello,
My colleague's desktop computer types "?" for "^" only in Excel. All other keys seem to be normal and we've checked the Control Panel and Excel Options for language settings.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.

It is actually in Windows 7.
