Need power supply for this setup

Help me choose a supply for this setup 650 watt not enough !
MSi nf980a-G65 mobo
16gb corsair dominator 1333
blu-ray,dvd burner
3 sparkle 9800gtx video cards nummerous case fan's
500gb wd 7200 HDD

According to NVidia's website, the 9800GTX only uses 140W (max), which means your GPUs only use 420W.

With the rest of your components, you should easily fall under 650W. Take a look at the Antec EA650/TP650 and the XFX 650W Core Edition PSUs. I have an Antec EA650 that powered an i7-930, 9GB RAM, and 2xGTX 470

^ I agree. From what I've seen, those cards require two 6-pin PCIe connectors. Your biggest issue is going to be finding a unit that has six 6-pin PCIe connectors. Most only (lol) have four. A molex adapter will work, as long as you only use one per card.

I used two on one of my 470s and never had an issue. It depends how the rails are set up though.
