Hi all,
I'm inspecting my Intel Core i7-980X cpu right now, and AFAIK there are no pins bent. I've looked at several images on Google of this cpu, and my cpu appears exactly the same: the bottom is basically flat with many copperish contact points and in the center the "pins" are about one millimeter or so high, very very short.
I know with the older Intel CPU's, the pins were VERY easy to see and also to bend. Are bent pins on the 980X hard to discern ? Thanks for your time.
Steve
