I have been running the following video card setup trouble-free for 6+ months.
2x HIS Radeon HD4870
Card 1 - 30" Samsung 305T
Card 2 - 2x 24" Samsung 245T
Windows 7 64-bit
Two weeks ago my 30" just stopped working. I tried different dual-link dvi cables. I tried plugging the 30" into all of the ports on the 2 cards and I swapped the cards. No love. Weird thing is that the 24"s work just fine, even from the port the 30" had been running on for months. Windows doesn't even detect the 30". Weirder still, I hooked up the 30" to another computer and it works great. I spoke with AMD and ruled out the cards being the problem and the same with Samsung about the monitor. Why would the 24's still work while the 30 would not?
Any theories out there?
