Winxp home & phenom ii x4

Almost have my PC built.
I will be installing Winxp 32-bit for now.
Any problems I should watch out for?

I realize winxp won't utilizes all 4gb of ram. Anything else I should know?

Will it see/use all 4 cores of the cpu?

PC Specs: AMD Phenom II x4 955, 2x2gb ddr3, hd 6870, 500gb hdd, 760G & SB710 (north & south bridges; are those the same as the "chipset"? for when I look for chipset drivers?).

Windows XP does natively support SATA drives. You will need to have SATA drivers on a separate disc in order to install Windows XP on a SATA hard drive. It might have to be on a floppy disc.

If you do not have a floppy drive, then you can "slipstream" SATA drivers with Windows XP. You might as well slipstream SP3 too.

Also make sure there are Win XP drivers for your motherboard, otherwise you might find that the RJ-45 ethernet connection (for the internet) might not work, or other devices.
