Md4096kd2-800-v2

Hello,
What is the difference between the PNY 4GB RAM kit MD4096KD2-800 and the more recent MD4096KD2-800-V2 ? Will a motherboard that accepts the former accept the latter "V2" edition? Cannot find info on this anywhere...

They probably changed the memory chip provider or the PCB design. Nothing that would concern the end user.
